5LINX® Lands No. 2 On Rochester Top 100

A Recession-Proof Company and Model

5LINX® was named the No. 2 company on the 2009 Top 100 List. The trio of 5LINX® co-founders and many of the corporate staff attended the event sponsored by the Rochester Business Alliance. The annual event was attended by local leaders including Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks and City of Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy.

Despite the state of the national economy, 5LINX® expects to reach about $50+ million in revenues this year. That is more than double what the company did in 2008 and the expectations are that 2010 will be double this year.

”We’re actually doing very well in spite of what’s happening with the markets. Our business is accelerating,” said President Craig Jerabeck.

5LINX® currently has about 130 employees and about 30,000 representatives. “We have people from all walks of life,” said Guck, EVP of Sales. “We have white-collar workers. We have blue-collar workers, attorneys, professors, and athletes. Everybody’s looking for a smarter, better way to make money.”

“We sell name-brand products and we sell services that people consider necessities,” added Jerabeck.
